It is important to know if the fleet's tachographs are compatible with the remote data download system. For this, there are different options depending on the brand of the tachographs in question. Below is the information necessary to check compatibility.

Our DTCOcheck application allows you to know if your tachograph is compatible by entering the model number or by sending a previously downloaded vehicle file.

Continental (VDO)

There is no immediate way to know if they support Remote Data Download (RDL). Only versions 1.3 and above support Remote Data Download (RDL). You will also need to enter the model number in the DTCOcheck application. The model number (begins with "1381-") can be found on the label inside the printer compartment and on the tachograph tickets. This is necessary because there are some models with design limitations, even though they are modern, that do not allow connection to the same.

*To access the identifier it is necessary to open the printer compartment and remove the paper roll

Stoneridge

All models from version (revision) 7 onwards support Remote Data Download (RDL).
*OK Rule: If it says OK, it has remote download. Check the buttons on your tachograph:

The model in the first image has remote download, the one in the second does not.

Actia

All tachographs whose model includes the word "Remote" or whose reference is greater than or equal to 921872 support Remote Data Download (RDL). This information is visible on the tachograph label. To find the tachograph label, it is necessary to extract the tachograph and look on its sides.

EFAS

Remote download of EFAS tachographs is available from EFAS-4 (SW 2.00-2.15) onwards. This information can be found on the tachograph label, located at the bottom of the tachograph or by printing a ticket; as indicated below:
